I graduated from Thomas Edison State University in December of 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

I received my teaching certificate from Rowan University in 1997 specializing in Special Education.

In May, 2006 I received a Master’s degree from Wilmington University in School Counseling.

Prior to entering the field of education, I was a computer programmer for RCA/General Electric Corporation in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

In September of 1995 I became a special education teacher at Veterans Memorial Middle School in Camden, New Jersey.

I stayed at this location until September of 1999 at which time I came to Pitman High School to develop and teach the self-contained special education program.

I left Pitman briefly to teach at Eastern High School in Voorhees, NJ.

I returned to Pitman in February, 2002 where I taught special education until December of 2006 when I went to the Middle School to become a Guidance Counselor.

I love my annual vacation to Disneyworld, the Philadelphia Flyers, and my pitbull Emmie Petunia.  More importantly, I love working with the children of Pitman Middle School.
