Ms. Schwank is a graduate of East Carolina University where she received her bachalors degree in Physical Education.  After graduation, she stayed in North Carolina and got her first teaching job at a rural middle school where she taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade health/phys. ed. and was the head girls volleyball coach and assistant girls basketball and softball coach for five years before returning home to New Jersey.  She taught at Eastern Regional High School as a long-term substitute teacher for two years and was assistant girls swimming coach.  She is in her seventh year at Pitman High School and teaches 12 grade health and phys. ed.  She is also the JV girls soccer coach and volunteer assistant softball coach.  She is looking forward to another wonderful year here at PHS!!


Ms. Schwank is in her thirteenth year of teaching health and physical education.  She grew up in South Jersey and went to East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.  She liked it so much that after she graduated, she stayed and lived there for five years and taught middle school health and physical education.  Ms. Schwank also coached middle school volleyball, basketball and softball.  She returned to her home state of New Jersey in 2007 and was a long term substitute teacher at Eastern High School, where she was also assistant coach of the girls swim team.  She now teaches 12th grade health and phys. ed., here, at Pitman High School and is the JV girls soccer coach and volunteer assistant softball coach. Along with teaching and coaching, Ms. Schwank enjoys singing on the worship team at her church and is part of a local band, Last Leaf, that was started by her brother and a few of his musician friends.  Ms. Schwank is looking forward to a wonderful school year 2015-2016 and welcomes any questions or concerns from parents/guardians and/or students!
